Creativity for all

Artist and qualified Art Teacher Honor Pedican has lots of arts education experience from all her positions.

Roles have included Art Teacher in a Bahamian state school on the island of Eleuthera, Learning & Engagement Officer for Wrexham Council, in the UK, Creative Practitioner for the Arts Council Wales and more recently as Art Leader of Learning for a large on-line secondary school (teaching Art, Design & Photography courses to hundreds of international students each week).  She has raised thousands of additional funding for visual arts and multi-arts education projects, enabling people that otherwise may have missed out to access the arts.  Honor has appeared on the BBC's Children In Need programme, leading her 'Drawing on Your Super Powers' work with young carers. Has worked closely with IKON, The Custard Factory, Oriel Davies and Mostyn galleries to improve disability equality in the UK, for engage (the National Association for Gallery Education)...

'It has been a pleasure to work with Honor.  Both the council and the children are very lucky to have such a committed and enthusiastic facilitator. Honor ensures that the practicalities of the job...are all dealt with very effectively.  All the details are well communicated to all stakeholders and she seeks their ideas and involvement...  Honor has a 'hands on' approach that is appreciated by children, parents and practitioners alike.  Honor shares with the children (and their parents and carers) her excitement and enthusiasm for the arts.  She promotes challenging and creative opportunities... to develop their skills and self expression.'

Enjoy Art, Design & Making workshops with Honor.  There's lots available, if living here or visiting Flintshire in North Wales (UK). One-off makes, walking away with something to be proud of or something more regular, that builds creative skills and also confidence.

It gets even better!

While they are making it (in more ways than one) in their online sessions, your generosity is helping others around the world!  Helping children and their families, in developing countries, tackle devastating effects of climate change, fight poverty and get an education of their own.

The Honor Pledge

Honor is literally 'On a mission' to give back to some of THE best charities! So while helping your own, you're also helping others!

The role of a creative leader is not to have all the ideas; it’s to create a culture where everyone can have ideas and feel they’re valued.
